Beating 3b Monkeys

How do you deal with players who 3b constantly and also play well postflop? I usually minraise every hand on the button and today I played someone that bombarded me with 3x 3bs (probably 1/3 hands or so). Playing bloated pots in position with a range that's probably not weaker than his (when I call) should be a dream come true but I didn't handle it well. The problem is that I usually miss the flop and he puts a lot of pressure on me if I check or if I bet. Since the pots are already bloated, his reraises and shoves make his risk worthwhile so I'm not sure how to react. Part of the problem is that he knows if he has garbage when he's putting pressure on me but I'm forced to ask myself if I should make a tough hero call. He knows where he stands and I have no clue where I am.

1. advice= If you usually min

1. advice= If you usually min raise every hand and you encounter this style, you should definetly stop raising 100%. Go down to min raising maybe 60-80% of buttons so your range is stronger and you are able to call more 3bets. Also start 4-betting the top of your range and call down any shove.Does he check his whole 3bet range to you every time he 3bets or?

you either have to lower your

you either have to lower your raising range way down and limp some hands that you will call a raise with. Or match his aggression with your own agression, 4-betting wider and sitting on a hand when you flop it. I usually go with the first option just because you get more control over what happens.

Yeah, sounds pretty much like

Yeah, sounds pretty much like he's adjusting to your style.  Even the biggest fish eventually realizes that you can't have a hand each time if you open 100% of your buttons, so he'll start to play back at you.You also need to keep in mind that even though 3betting 1/3rd of the time may sound loose, he is actually doing it for value - his 33% of hands are just so much stronger than your any two cards. So flatting more of this 3bets or even 4bet-bluffing isn't the answer here - instead, you should tighten up your opening range, mix in some limps and fold some trashy hands.
