Do you think HU SNG is the best way to increase a bankroll?Do you play any other type of poker? What do you think about 6,9-10 SNG's?What about cash games?Sometimes I believe that the most money are at cash tables.Which can be the most profitable form of poker(of course, with necessarly skills)?
.
One thing to note -- the winrates as reflected on that page are independent of bankroll size. What you will find if you estimate the required bankrolls to play the games, HUSNGs can earn well over $50/hr with a very short bankroll, as low as $1000. There's no other game that can bring that kind of money with such a small bankroll. As such, yes, husng is the #1 way to build a bankroll.
I think these numbers are way too high - that's something a high-stakes player could make on the $50's, but not the average beginner who's just starting to play.
Imo having a $1000 bankroll and 15% ROI also doesn't make any sense - it just takes so long before you're good enough to beat the games with such a high winrate that you'll usually have $2k+ before you get avove 10% ROI.
I didn't make the chart to answer the question "what's the best way to make your bankroll get bigger" but instead "assuming you have a sufficient bankroll, where is the sweet spot for grinding?" If you'd like the former question answered in more detail, please post it to my blog and I'll run the numbers for you.
Oh, then it makes perfect sense :-)
I dont know about the booster , but its a greate way to improve your skills.
Until you go on a 20BI downswing like I am on. It happens. I still have a comfortable roll because I choose to have more for comfort reasons not math.
Jackioniel: Also consider that some people may have, as you quoted, a $1K BR and 15ROI, for various reasons.... Perhaps they had to make a few withdrawls, or lost some playing PLO 6max (or -shudder- Casino games!), or they gambled too much or did something else to blow through a decent chunk of it quickly, or perhaps they even played most of their games say on UB, then decided to move over to PS/Tilt starting with a $1K roll.... While I dont have 15ROI, my roll is small for how much i have won, for the 1st reason.Or perhaps they had a self-imposed poker ban (addicted?), and now keep no more than 1K online to play with, even though they could easily have 15K+ from their winrate... Personally I know 1 or 2 ppl who could probably draw income from the game (ie with a slightly bigger BR), but have no interest in doing so....
Play me in HU cash and your BR will dramatically increase. Sigh... -5.3k there
