his push really doesn´t make

his push really doesn´t make a lot of sense to me (but then again: it´s 7$ and most people there use plays that don´t make sense, which can get you into levelling yourself into bad decisions). the turn doesn´t change the board. if he had hit the flop with a nine or ten, he should have raised you because of the many draws. to me (which could be completely wrong of course) the only "reasonable" hands he could do this with (if it´s reasonable to play like that is another debate) are 52 (pretty unlikely) and a suited connector or suited gapper containing the 5 of clubs (like 56s, 58s, 54s). against this range you are about a 25% dog (if he chooses to defend 52o, only 20%). yet as soon as you add straight draws into his range like 78, QJ, J8, you´re a big favourite and often don´t even have to hit.
i think you have to call here, because as a value play it just doesn´t make sense and against his semi bluffs, you are far ahead.

Thanks for your

Thanks for your comments.

Note, this type of play is quite rare @ $7 games from what I've seen.
The player pool's biggest weakness is they play very weak tight postflop.
You will see a lot of spew if you check back turn and bluff catch river after cbetting flop.

Was quite funny in this hand because:
- I bet called, figuring I was getting about 30% pot odds on calling the jam and had the nut FD + A high against a line which didn't really make sense and a range which could have semibluffed draws in it.
- When I snapped it off, villain says "lol what a donk" (presumably referring to my play)
- And I think to myself, I agree, you are a donk c/r jamming turn with a gutshot lol
