Hey all,

So ive been playing ht husng's since last summer, and my confidence in my game is quite high, but the one thing i keep struggling with is variance.

I know this is a huge leak, but the problem is, I can't manage to find out what brm / amount of tables i should play.
i currently play 25$ and 50$ husng's on 888, and in the last days of 2014 i made ~2k. Its the 7th of januari now and im down almsot 1.5k since my upswing.

Now I had the same thing when i played turbo's last year (then 1k up 3 days before new years and 1k down the 3 days after) and I ended up quitting those games all together.

So i have 2 questions, first of all, how to deal with this? First thing that came to my mind was up the volume (3/4 tables instead of 2), so that I'd get out of the downswing sooner but that was just too much for me. So my new plan was to play only 50's but just one table, but that would make my downswing last longer, wouldn't it? Is it a good idea to play less tables when you run bad? Or just keep the same amount of tables and continue my grind?

Second, what'd be the best way to go about brm for me? Currently i just swap between 25's and 50's and play whichever i feel like. (Roll is now at 2750$) I've read about this a lot, and everyone seems to have different opinions on the matter (kelly, 1/2 or 1/4 kelly, 40 bi up 35 down, 100 bi and just play x games and reevaluate. Etc etc)
It's like I get scared I'll keep losing and losing and lose everything when I'm in a downswing, and being afraid to play isn't really +ev.

I know brm probably comes down to personal preference for a big part, but Id really appreciate some insights, or maybe why some of you are using a certain brm.
