hey guys i have two questions1.is it possible to view my ev graph somehow except using pt or hm?2.ive been defeating 3.50 stakes over 4 k hand sample ive deposited some more cash and jumped into 7 dollar hyper on stars and played for like 23 hours straight and lost 200 dollars which means i busted in one day what i was grinding for a couple of weeks basically is this a standard swing and should i destroy my pc with a bat??
1: if you want a good tracker, there is no way around PT4 or HEM 2: if you play 23 hours straight, i would say that you had it coming. noone can play their a-game for such an extended period of time. but yes, hypers can give you some variance. when i was playing 7$s, i also had a massive downswing of over 200$. i was down 200$ below EV within about 400 games. just recently i had another downswing on the 15s, where i lost 16 games in a row, which made me about 200$ below ev in just 16 games. i suppose quite some guys have experienced worse. i´d say, get yourself a decent tracker and only play when you are alert. another thing is that people easily get overexcited with EV-lines. you shouldn´t put too much into that. for example: it´s possible to have your EV-line going south although you make all the right decisions. if you get the money in when you are dominated (like KT vs AT) and that happens to you over an extended period of time, your EV is going down, although you were doing the right thing, shoving KT 8bb deep. another thing is that against a frequent 3bettor, you need to have a wide 4bet-allin-range, if you don´t you´ll get run over. if you´re unlucky, you´ll run into the top of his range exactly then when you are bluffing. simply put: if two opponents who adjust to one another perfectly, are playing, the EV-line is more or less a statistic on who is getting dealt better cards. cheerss.
thanks for taking time for quality reply :)
If you destroy your computer very time you have a 30 bis downswing on hypers you go busto only buing new computers :D I know on micros it doesnt happen a lot but still its hypers. It could be much worse. this is unpleasant but normal. Get over it. GL
