Hey guys,I think I remember reading or listening to coaches talk about Camtasia as a "free software". However, when I enter the Camtasia website I get offered a 30 day trial period and then there's a bunch of purchase options. Am I missing something?If Camtasia isn't free, is there any other decent video recording software that is?Thanks for any answers.

Yes, CamStudio is the free recording software that is often referenced.Standard output is avi there, but there's a ton of free programs online that can convert your files to various other (often less sizeable) formats.The names can be quite confusing.There's another free program, I want to say it's called screenwriter or screenrecorded or something, that I've seen recommended a lot recently.If you have the space, just use Camstudio to record videos, the avi output is high quality and you can upload clips to youtube (or full vids to megaupload type sites) pretty easily.
