Hi guys,
To be honnest I don't understand the chubukov's push/fold chart.
Nash is clear with 2 tables, one for the push and the other for the fold but the chubukov's table is a one table chart for both? push and fold?
Sorry for the dumb question ;-)
Thanks
Ludwig
The only thing that Chub is useful for is knowing what hand you'd be better of jamming than folding in any situation.
The chart's definition is "if you flip your hand up so your opponent can see it and they call a perfect range, is it better to jam or fold this hand?"
It's not very useful for anything other than "I want to fold this hand, but Chub says I should jam it, so I shouldn't fold it" situations.
It doesn't help you decide whether or not you should minraise, or how to exploit your opponent's calling range (nobody calls perfectly, nobody can see your hole cards, etc.).
Mersenneary talks a little bit about this in one of his earlier chapters in his free HUSNG eBook.
