Hi All,
I just had a question about the EV line in Poker Tracker 4. I am told it works for all in / showdown pots....So lets say the stack sizes are 1500 each, and i get 90% of my chips in or 1350 chips in on the flop, but i'm a huge underdog with only 2 outs. I hit the 2 outer on the turn, and then we get the final 150 chips in on the turn and i have my opponent drawing dead....how does the EV line work here? Will my EV line shoot up and say I was a 100% favourite to win all 3000 chips? Because that's what the odds were when it came to showdown?
Or will it take into account that i was less than a 10% chance to win with almost ALL of my chips in.
Cheers,
It is calculated at the point which you end up all in.

As such, I believe the answer to your question is yes, it will assign you 100% equity in a pot of 3000 chips.
Both your results and equity adjusted results will in this case go up by +1500 chips.
Thanks Cdon, very helpful.......i'm new to poker tracker so struggling a bit with a few things.
I don't really have a big enough sample since installing poker tracker to analytse much yet, but this is how i've gone so far, this is all just a mix of $1.50-$3.50 hypers, and $7 turbos so far:
Do you know why my C net won combined from the sb and bb is 174.96 + 148.36 = 323.32?
My C net won since installing poker tracker is only $171 as shown in the first graph, so shouldn't they both only add up to that?
I think it just means that in all tournaments you have posted SB, you have won 175$, while in all Tournaments you have posted BB you have won 148$. Some tournaments you go all in first hand so you play only SB or only BB and this is what makes the small difference and it tells you nothing. If you want information on how you are doing from sb and bb you can add chips, chips adjusted and BB, BB adjusted to the report
Thanks Larsy, that makes sense.....
