Hi, you all!
Finally, I found time to start this thread. My PS nickname is “FateWeaver”. I am 25 and from a sunny country – Uzbekistan. I began to play HUSNGs from January of this year and I quite enjoyed it! I had a lot of work lately and was not able to spare much time to it, but now I’m ready!
My goals for 2014:
- To be a profitable player on the 60’s hypers by the end of the year;
- To play more than 1K games on 100$ level and to be ready to move up to that level.
- To reach SuperNova status.
My plan:
- My 25 days per month will be devoted to poker (that’s around 5-6 hours a day, I still have some work to do, but once I’m done, 2-3 more additional hours will go for poker);
- To play more than 150 Hypers each day;
- To play 1 or 2 10.5$ Heads-up Knockout tournaments at the end of the session;
- And finally, to post here my results at the end of each day (that can be some interesting hands or my opinions about the game itself at a particular level. This should help me to stay motivated and also improve my game.).
I’m going to begin from 7$ hypers, actually I can begin from 15$, but I don’t want to risk that much and I feel more confident at 7$ level at the moment. Also, I’m thinking about stacking program, but let’s see how it goes ;)
So wish me good luck and let’s beat it together!
PS: Feel free to post your questions, should you have them and I will be happy to answer. And here is my graph for the 7$ hypers:
And here are the results of the first day. Could've been much better but got a lot of bad beats at the end:
The beginning was not so good as I wanted but managed to finish the day without tilt and in good mood :)
Managed to play 189 tournaments, all day long was above ev))
That was very tough day for me with a lot of coolers. But I was happy to see that after 5 hours of grinding I have made some profit.
Sick day finished! I'm gonna have some rest. I hate variance for that, but it's hypers...))
Your overall graph looks pretty solid Igor.....keep it up.
GL at the tables!
Thanks! I will try my best.
I had some plans and I thought that I wouldn't play today, but got some free time for grinding and I spent that time pretty well!
Pretty good grinding day finished! At some moment I had 11 wins in a row and felt myself like a "God"))) I like such days when I have more than 10 wins in a row, it gives you some power to win more and more.
And here is the graph, I removed ev-line from it because I found some mistakes on it. I noticed that some files from hand histories didn't have the final hands. It began when I began to use sharkystartor. Have somebody got the same issue? If so how did you solve it?
Saw you in lobbies today, definitely wont be sitting you :D I also started playing 7s lately but still need to put alot of work into my game. Are you interested in sharing some hand reviews?
Sure, why not? Here is my SkypeID: fateweaver_ps
And if you guys want to share some hands and talk about them or just want to talk in general about hypers, feel free to add me on Skype.
It was a tough day..... Got a downswing in the beginning, so the rest of my session was to minimize it. Still didn't solve a problem with hands history files and sharkystrator, so no reason to show ev-line.
See you on the tables!
Hi guys!
Finally solved the problem with sharky....
Below you can see how swingy hypers can be just in 200 tournaments. And I hate swings for that!
Busy day. Managed to play 139 tournaments. Results could be better but........
Hey man, pretty cool objectives, I am doing something near to what you are doing. What's your SN in ps? And what's your skype? we could exchange some knowledge and experience. GL in your journey, cya.
Thanks.
SN: FateWeaver.

Unlucky day for me :(
Tried to do all my best but river didn't appreciate it....
One more sick day finished. I was so unlucky in the beginning and actually wanted to stop grinding for today, but then I had some rest and continued to grind.
Day 13 was good for me. Little bit lost at the end but still showed a nice profit. And here is a graph with three 235 fpp satellites that I played at the end. Will continue to play at night when will play on Saturday Duell. Hope gonna win it and will move up)))
Pretty cool beginning of the new week. Little bit worked on my button play on Sunday and I satisfied with my today's results.
One more tough day to test my tilt control and I think I passed that test ;)
And a little advice that might increase your profit: raise, raise and raise and then you can look at your cards....
GL at the tables!
One more grind day ended. Got around 10 bad beats but still showed a profit. Hope soon will move up to 15$.
Tomorrow gonna have a rest.
After one day rest I began my session pretty bad. Almost lost every showdowns. But second half was great. May be could make same profit but want to sleep.
Hi guys! I had IELTS speaking test today, that's why I didn't play for 3 days. Will continue my grind tomorrow!
Nice work, I like your consistent volume and updates.
Can you post a "goal to date" overall graph sometime in the near future?
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for your response. Yes, actually I was thinking to post my overall graph, but then I remembered that there were some inaccuracies in my EV line (around 80-100 tournaments did not include the record of the last hand), which I also explained in my previous posts. That's why I was not sure whether I should include this graph, but as per your request, I can as well add it.
Hey Igor,
Nice thread, I think played you few times before.
wondering how much tables do you play to keep 150 games per day?
Good luck with your goal!
Hi and thanks!
It's actually pretty easy for me: 2 tables 55min = 33-35 tournaments. If I rematch someone than it can be 40-45.
I think you would be better posting graphs less frequently => like once a week or month.
Good luck with your challenge :)
Thanks cdon3822, actually posting every day helps me to stay motivated and to play the volume I want to play. It's like a timesheet for me that you have to fill at the end of your's working day.
First I tried that on FullTilt on April. I had a mini goal to be at top 3 on their monthly leaderboard for low division for that month. And with a help of reporting to myself each day I won it!
You don't have to pay attention to your results each day, but you have to look at the volume you put.
As long as the graphs don't make him results oriented, it should work out well.
Tried to find my game after 3 days off. Finally did it at the end of a session ;)
Unfortunately, I won't be playing today and tomorrow, have an important exam on Saturday, gotta prepare! Will be back on track from Sunday on!
Finally came back to my grind! Unlucky day for me, have to check where I left my luck :) Hope gonna find it as soon as possible!
Today I played only around 2 hours. Then I felt sick and stopped my play. Maybe tonight will continue.
Still I felt sick all day long. Didn't play a lot but showed cool results. When I have a headache it's better not to play against me :))
At the beginning I ran deep in hu shootout tourney, so I had a really good mood.
Nice blog. Nice results!
Hi.
Thanks.
Finally played full session today. My game is getting hot as is World Cup in Brazil!
Here is today's session:
And here is overall for the last three days of grind:
Let's see may be I can do better...

Let's see may be I can do better...
Played short session today around 50 tournaments. It was lucky day for me. And here is overall graph for the last 4 days.
Who knows may be I can do even better...
One more pretty cool day for me.
Played some games on 15$ level (24 to be exact), got disconnected at the end and lost two of them, that was little bit sad...
The last day of June wasn't good for me, lost almost all coin flips. Also I had a lot problems with internet connection, so I decided to stop grinding for today.
And here is overall graph for June. Played almost 2500 tournaments, I wanted to play much more... But I had IELTS this month so much time I spent for preparation for it. Good news that I found my A-game for that limit and that there are plenty of weak players still there!
Tomorrow I'm going to begin July session.
And here is some goals for July:
1) To play more than 3 000 husng hypers.
2) To have ROI more than 4%.
3) To win Saturday Duel.
See you at the tables!
The first grind day in July was little bit unlucky. One tabling after 4 days off so played only 116 tournaments.
Didn't play a lot again today. Worked on one new line in my game...
Hi guys I was away, soon will start! ;)
Hi, I'm finally back and got some good news: I got accepted to hu stacking program. Quite excited and can't wait to move up in stakes!
And here is how my warm-up looks:
The start was pretty hot, but then got lots of coolers and some bluffs that didn't work.... But still definitely a good day for me.
Couldn't play a lot, need to prepare for tomorrow's German test. And then gonna be free!
