Fish at higher stakes??

I am always watching higher stakes games (500-5000) and always see the same people in the lobby or playing each other. With that in mind, I was wondering how many fish play higher than $500 or is it just all regs? And if it is just a bunch of regs that hardly sit each other, how is anyone profitable?

There are still many fish at

There are still many fish at the higher levels.  You'll often see a regular wait for longer time periods in the lobby, however, until a weaker player sits them.  In order for him to do this successfully very often, he needs to be respected by other players, at least to an extent to where other regular players are not sitting him when they see him.You also have a lot of players that can beat $100-200 levels taking shots at the $500+ levels.  On average, these players are probably losing to the average regular at this level, so that's another way $500+ regulars make money.Yet another way are when good players tilt.  This can be a $500+ regular tilting against another, or a degenerate tilting from the lower levels and playing much higher than usual.Combined, you'll see that there is still plenty of room to make good money at the higher stakes games for some of the better players out there.
