Hey guys!Well. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the skill difference between these two levels on FullTilt.I currently play the 11s with an ROI of 6-7% over more than 1k games and have the roll to move up, but everytime (tried it two times now) I take a shot at the 22s I get raped. It didn't feel like the opponents were so much better, more like I'm running bad, but I'm not sure...
How many games at the $22s?The games should be similar, the answer is almost always you running bad or playing bad (or a combination of both).
Thanks for the response! I really appreciate that someone I consider a very good coach frequently answers questions in this forum.Only 130 games at the 22s, no samplesize, i guess. The negative ROI (> -10%) is still worrying me. Maybe it's a mindset/scared money problem or I really just ran bad.I just wanted to make sure that there isn't a huge difficulty/avg skill gap between what I consider low stakes (11s) and the beginning of the "midstakes".Guess I'll try to win some more money in the 11s until I feel good and try the 22s again.
Small sample, yes, but you are right to have some concerns/uncertainty.Just be confident that the skill increase is very slim, and should definitely not be responsible for a drastic drop in results. It's often good to do what you suggest, move down, keep winning at your level, and then taking another shot. Even if your edge is halved in buyin levels (it should not by any stretch if you play the same quality as you do at $11s) a shot is bound to work at some point.
Recently I've played 3 sets of 100 games over the 2 levels.$11 I won 65/100 after running exceptionally well.$22 I won 51/100 after running really badly.$22 I won 55/100 after running averagely.Obviously it's a small sample size but there is a noticable difference in the overall quality of the player pool.Which is why I've just signed up to HUSNG.com!
