Hi,
I´ve been playing the 15$ husng at stars lately. I´ve noticed that I get c/r on the flop quite often when I cbet the dry board while
playing a TAG or LAG. Flops like 448 or K73. They probably know I have air most of the time on these boards and c/r bluff I think. How to counter this?
Check back these flops? Bluff reraise the c/r? Or is cbetting still the right play overall? Could be I just ran into the few players who do this.
Yeah u gota be able to check back flops aswell, if ur cbet percentage is too high a reg will notice this and start checkraising u on dry boards, so mix it up, cbet your weak hands with no showdown and strong hands you want checkraised with and just flat his raise and let him bluff his stack off and check back hands like middle pair u can bluff catch with, if the players aggro he will attack which he thinks is a capped range like ace high etc after u check back flop and will stab turn and river. U can also counter this other ways by flatting their raise and they will sometimes give up and u can take it away from them on the turn in position after they check give up, or you can small 3bet their raise, u dont have to raise big, all sizes get the same information u need. Experiment with these and go with the one that adjusts best to your oppenent. You can also try delay cbeting, youl find most players if they dont stab the turn after u check flop just check fold turn. Hope this helps
