GOING UP?

Hello guys, this is my first topic here.I have been playing 50+2.50 hu sng normal speed on pokerstars for a few months with some succes , 8-10 % roi two tabelling. Im kind loosing interest in 52.5 ,maybe because im overrolled , and i hope this will improve my focus ? Should i go up or wait until im really crushing 52,5?

Don't know how many games you

Don't know how many games you have played in those few months but I was under the impression that 8-10% ROI was really good.PaulIB_Fishing

Congrats on the success so

Congrats on the success so far and welcome to the forums.I'd suggest making some motivational goals.  Something along the lines of 125% what you average, allowing you to really push the volume to hit your goal if you don't run OK.  Another idea is to just find a few big items to purchase that will really bring you some value/happinss (things like a house, a relaxing vacation or something else you find a lot of value in).  Then you can take x % of your winnings towards that goal until you've completed it.The last idea, and I wouldn't usually suggest this (but you're beating the games very solidly), is to play some regs. You'll find some new dimensions to the game to think about and it should help you get back into things. You can also take some shots at the $115 level AND even the $230 level. Now, people don't usually hear "move up two levels" as legitimate advice.  But say you're playing 600 games a month at the $55 level.  That's about 3k in profit.  Now add in a 5 buyin shot to the 115s and a 3 buyin shot to the 230s.  If you completely screw it up you've lost 1200 or so.  Maybe you can even grind out another 150 games at the 55s if you fail both shots (taking both shots early to mid way through the month can help that), reducing the hurt from the shot by $750 or so on average.Just try to find little ways to motivate yourself and keep things interesting.  Finding motivated players to talk with can be positive as well.My last idea could be motivating as well.  Any interest in making videos or coaching?  Successful players often find it rewarding and motivating to help a low stakes player.  You could help a good friend improve at the game, or a low stakes player that is really motivated himself.  Further, you can extend this into making videos (whether for your own fun or with the intention of getting them on our site)

I'm only at the $23s, but I

I'm only at the $23s, but I would suggest the following: act like your bankroll is $0 and continue playing $50s until you earn a couple buyins for $100s, then take a shot. There's no need to lock yourself into playing the $100s, but you can feel less pressured if you earn money at $50s specifically designated to $100s and rinse and repeat if so desired. Then, when you win a couple $100s, just continue playing $100s unless again you lose the designated BR.

Thanks for the ideas guys

Thanks for the ideas guys .First i was planing to move up in a couple of months , but now i feel like i need a chalenge and is more likely that i will play my A game on a bigger stake.Dont know if 8-10 % roi is to solid on 52.5 normal speed ( certainly is for turbos ) and about taking shots , i will move down again if i loose 20 - 30 buy-ins ,which should be enough ,i think, to cover some variance. I just need some reassurance that u dont need to be the best at ur stake to go up, somethink like that i guess.
