Hello. I'm new to online poker. After watching some videos here I decided to deposit $30 on Juicy Stakes and in the last two days I have spent a LOT of time playing the .72 + 3 hyper turbos there. After probably 300 hundred games, I'm up less than a dollar! I need help. For some reason I'm not able to use Sharkscope on my PC; the homepage is practically frozen and doesn't allow me to maneuver throughout the site (I have no idea why). I would like for someone to search me on Sharkscope (ExceptRita87 at Juicy Stakes) and post my graph and stats here so I can check it out. Also, I have recorded about an hour's worth of games of me playing one table at a time and would love any winning hyper player to review these videos. I can't pay you, but if you're willing to help out that would be awesome! I am up about $20 in heads up cash on there, but I must be doing something drastically wrong in the hypers. I can tell the players are no good, yet I can't get ahead. I'll win 10 games, break even for ten games, then lose lose lose lose and lose some more. Granted I have lost a lot of all ins where I've had way the best of it, but this must happen to winning players whose graphs still go up. HELP! I want to CRUSH these .72 games and move up to the $1.44 games, some of which I've played. I want to fucking CRUSH these games.
Hey man!! its hard to say, not knowing your game... But if you feel that your better than most of the villains you play, and you know how to adjust to them then its probably no problem because 300 games is a really small sample for hypers..
See if you could get someone to look at your video or try to post some hands in spots where you think you make the right move just to make sure, and also make sure you post hand everytime your a bit unsure of what to do as well...
Its easy to say, but i suck at this myself (:
Hey, thanks. Yeah, I'm really hoping someone will agree to look at my videos. It doesn't have to be a pro or a coach, just someone who's successful at the low stakes. Anyway, thanks for replying. I really don't think 300 is a small sample, though, because when I look at winning players' graphs, they have downswings, ok, but hardly ever over 300 games, and before and after their graphs are shooting up. Idk, I have a lot to learn is all. I'm basically a breakeven player right now without the rakeback but REALLY hope someone checks out my videos. lol. I really think I'm too worried about getting it all in preflop with the best hand most of the time; I'm not sure if I should make this a big part of my strategy or not, but a LOT of those people will call with Q and J high, even stuff like 98s preflop for all their chips against a solid Ax holding, but MAN it sucks when they suck out again and again and again and again and again and again. lol. I literally had 6 out 7 consecutive tournaments lost to people hitting their dominated pair with Ax for all of or nearly all of the chips (their A3 would pair the 3 against my AJ, etc.) Hypers are fucking rough, no doubt, but they're challenging and I want to learn how to beat them.
Jt
Just put in the numbers in the variance calculater and you'll see, i got minus results 3 out of 10 with 53% winrate when i tried with 300, It really is a small sampe when playing hypers...
If you get it in with the best hand and get sucked out you should just be happy. You will make money in the long run.
You seem to be confusing downswing with variance.
Hi.
