How to adjust to this villain?

Hey guys,I had a game yesterday ($6 turbo) that confused me somewhat as to the optimal line on a lot of hands. The guys I was playing did the following (estimated rough approximations);* Called my button opens - 60%* Check/Raised flops - 40%* Flatted flop cbet - 20%He opened his own button around 30% of the time and limped the rest.  I was fairly comfortable playing OOP actually (as comfortable as you can be anyway), but I found myself in a lot of tough spots on the button, and vs this play i'm not really sure what the optimal adjustment should be.I think the obvious thing to do is to start off cbetting with strong hands (as normal) and widen by 3bet calling range/4betting range.  Start to check behind with my air and re-asses on the turn.  The only problem with this was I was having a tough time making much of a hand on the flop, so i'd be opening my buttons with hands like Q10suited, KJo etc.  and flopping 5610.Should I open up a wider limping range vs this guy and only raise my buttons with stronger hands?  I considered this but figured if I miss the flop i'm in the exact same situation anyway.  Any general advice would be appreciated :)

The one thing you're missing

The one thing you're missing is that his flop CR is pretty high (40%) and he's only calling a bit more than 50% of your open raises as it is, so if his CR is just as high on a lower card type board as it is a high card one, you can assume he's likely very unbalanced and weighted towards bluffs when he check raises small boards.  Therefore, you can open up your flop 3bet (reraise) range. Why did you open up your preflop 3bet calling and 4betting ranges?  I don't see anything in your post to suggest that it is clearly a good idea.

I think tightening up yoru

I think tightening up yoru opening range and adding a limping range is a great adjustment against this type of player.
