Your payment is under review by Paypal.
Paypal does this, mostly at random, so there's no need to worry.
It usually clears within 12-48 hours and your account should be automatically activated at that time.
I guess this happened to me as well. It's been about 24 hours but my payment is still pending.

Yea, this seems to happen to about 5-10% of people. It's 100% on paypal's end.
