HUSNG beginner

I'm just about to start reading colin moshmans HU book as well as Mersenearry's ebook. Not sure which one to start with first but I think i'll start with the ebook.

I am pretty much a HU newbie and I'm trying to start taking poker seriously. Till now I wasn't studying enough and wasn't reviewing hands, sessions etc. since as long as I had money on my pokerstars account I just kept playing and playing and didn't even bother going on 2+2.

Do you think reading these 2 books as well as posting some hands is enough to beat 7$ HUSNG hyper turbo's? This is because I have been a winning player over a small sample of 300 games in the 3.50's so I am aiming for the 7's soon. Once I start being break even or winning at the 7's I will hope to get some coaching from one of the husng.com coaches.

Also what other books on husng would you recommend ?

The Moshman book is somewhat

The Moshman book is somewhat old and outdated though it's not terrible for beginners. Imo if you study the Mers ebook you'll get much more out of it. There's also the Will Tipton book which is very good but much more advanced. The $7 hypers are very soft. Watch some of the free husng.com vids, read the Mers book, post hands, and you'll be beating them in no time. That said, a few hundred game sample is basically nothing at the $3.50s.

Thanks. I did hear the 7's

Thanks. I did hear the 7's were pretty much the same as the 3.50's but I just couldn't believe it. I found there is a lot of math talk in Moshman's book so I will only read that and then read the whole of Mers book. By the way I didn't play HU for some time + the sample that I have is on turbo games which means I will be starting pretty much from 0.

Ahh okay. Yeah, even the 15s

Ahh okay. Yeah, even the 15s are incredibly soft (not for an absolute beginner, but I think the first level with any solid cluster of regs is the 30s). If you can put up with the variance, study a lot, and put in the time there's no reason you can't be cruising your way through the micros :)
