Hi, I'm starting a new HUSnG group on Skype. I've been very successful in doing this in the past. Most groups I've been a part of are dead since black friday. I want to start a new fresh group with a tight group of players. I don't wish to join a big group with 20+ players. tom.jackson65 Though I should mention that I'm very new to husngs and I'm just playing the micros, so I can understand if your trying to get a a group of people who play higher stakes together.
I'll add you guys on Sunday afternoon when I get back to my apartment. I'm at home visiting the parents andfriends for the weekend and we'll get this thing started.No problems with the stakes or newness to the game. I'd just like to start talking poker with other dedicated players. I feel new to the game again also anyway. Plus I'm basically playing the micros right now to develop my feel for the game again even though I'm rolled for the 33s.
I'm learning hyperturbos at the moment but am still playing 250+ turbos a month on ongame. Hyper turbo's I am micro/low and turbos I play $5- $30 but mainly at the $20's as I still qualify for the ongame leaderboard at this level.I've pm'd you skype details

Ok, I added everyone that left a reply in this thread or PMed me. We have 7 guys now altogether so I'm unsure if I'm going to be looking to add anyone else together because I want to keep this small. I want everyone in the group to know each other so we can develop as a group.Edit: After some thought, I'm not accepting any more players until this group gets settled in and we have a meeting. After a week, if we have inactive players (I don't care wether active players are good or not) then I will kick them out and accept new players into the group. Until then, no more messages please. Trying to put together a tight group of players so that no one feels uncomfortable chiming in on something because they don't know the other players. Everyone will know each other in this group.
Let me know if/when you have a free spot. Would like to join a tight group of players and become close friends. Coming from a competitive chess background I know the importance of having like-minded individuals close to you to keep you motivated to study and progress as a player :)

We do have a spot open because one of the players decided he was going to play exclusively hyper so he had no use for the group. Right now, the group hasn't been able to really get together because I've failed to have time to set up a time where everyone could make it. I didn't realize that everyone who joined the group was from Europe and Asia so our times have not been meshing well for being on at the same time. I'm going to do my best this weekend to make time to get the group organized and set up a forum for us and a google calendar. My group before Black Friday did this and believe me it was mind blowing how well it worked to make the group extremely functionable. It felt like I should have been paying for this kind of access to learning!If you want in, just shoot me a PM with your Skype name or leave it here in the thread. We have some guys that seem like they might be really great players in the group and just don't know it yet. I think you will find players that are very competent in this group!Hope to hear from you!
