i can tell u my experience with study groups - it was waste of time, and the thing is u can understand if it was good or bad decision if u really think a little about it urself. Read mers e-book, get that chadders0 video pack if possible, make cool hud and just use ur brain to figure out how to addapt to all those types of players out there. But u really have to understand why are u doing every move excatly like that - u cant tell urself this time im doing like that just because i want
You just have not found the right study group yet. Especially in the beginning I believe study groups are pure gold mines. It is the same with reading mers ebook or watching chadders pack; how much you can gain from it highly depends on how intensive you study. Of course this does not mean that every study group is equally good...the best study groups IMO are those that have very challenging people so that you will have plenty of "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" moments. If you node along with your head for 3 hours it indeed is a waste of time. Also there are allways players that can gain more from a study group than others. If you are the most experienced player in your study group, chances are that you are in the wrong study group.
I think having a few good poker friends to study with is more valuable than the average group.I think both comments have a lot of truth in them too. I've seen one or two study groups succeed in improving the average player's game enough for the time spent, but then dozens of other skype groups that do not do that (but may provide social value, some incremental poker value, etc. just not what you're looking for if you want to really improve efficiently).

Thanks for the answers guys! But still, is there no study group that would wellcome a beginner?
I think you should try 2+2 and look for a study group there :)
I'm a beginner to Hyper HUSNG as well and I'm intrested in a study group.
