I got negative MGR in one day, according to the graphs. How is this possible?

I just got one day in september showing negative MGR. How can that be?

If you clear a bonus then you

If you clear a bonus then you will get an MGR hit. I have been clearing my first deposit bonus, and every $20 increment FT releases gives me like -19.xx in MGR.

Deposit bonuses, point

Deposit bonuses, point spending in stores, overlay tournaments, deposit fees and freerolls are charged by various poker rooms (deposit bonuses by all I believe, the other stuff depends).Rooms basically charge whatever they can get away with, and with affiliates being a dime a dozen more or less (outside of our product value membership offerings we can't offer any better deals than the best bc every room caps them at some %, we could only offer less but we offer max in every case we can) it just ends up resulting in the large poker rooms having a ton of leverage on affiliates.Newer poker rooms sometimes offer extras, but usually are incentives such as higher rakeback %s.  With lower playerbases they don't hold nearly as much power over affiliates as say FTP or Stars, which holds an incredible amount of power. If you think your MGR may be incorrect, just shoot us an email and we'll check it out, but you likely know the reason for the deductions after reading these posts.  In short, the rooms deduct it and it comes out of our cut as well as your rakeback.

Oh and it's still a better

Oh and it's still a better deal to clear a deposit bonus at all the sites than to not sign up for a deposit bonus. On FTP I believe you effectively get over 50% rakeback while clearing a deposit bonus, so it's not terrible by any stretch.

Ok, thanks for the

Ok, thanks for the comments. So this is what is going on. It is annoying to see that it will be harder to make a 250 US MGR to get a month of premium content, since I´m still clearing the first deposit bonus. I put 600 on FTP so it will take a while it seems.

Thou shalt not tilt.

Yea I'm sure it's

Yea I'm sure it's frustrating, but we're still much lower MGR wise than most offers out there and we have a unique product to offer (extensive husng training). But we're taking a hit too, we'd much rather see you get 250 MGR, or if you can get that now we'd much rather see you get 500 MGR if you had no bonus, etc.Since it's public information, I might as well point it out, but affiliates are capped at 3% take on Full Tilt signups (since March I believe it was).  Obviously we are in this for the long haul, as less than $10 in value for a premium sub earned is not very high.Don't feel bad or anything from those numbers, it's our decision and we're comfortable with it.But once FTP more than cut in half the value we'd receive from rakeback signups, we had already been doing 250 MGR, feedback on it was great so we decided to just keep it as is.It's also another way for new players to sign up and earn a premium membership even if it's normally way out of their budget.  But if we do our job they will become solid players, move up and we'll make our money back from the rake they pay at higher stakes.
