hi pedro, I also play hyper

hi pedro, I also play hyper al micro stakes and yes the rake is very very high. By the way ROI = Return Of Investiment... with an example : you play 10 heads up for 1$ and at the end you won 2$... on average you won 2$/10 = 0.2 $ on every heads up you have played ok?? So you invested 1$ and on average u won 1.2 $...(net profit + 0.2 $) so you have a return of your investiment of 20%... This is for make you understand that the answer to your questions is very simple : any ROI that is better of  a 0% ROI means that you are winning money...

What is very important here is to understand how many times you have to win your heads up matches to win money and to answer to this questions u have to resolve this : W = the percentage of time you won an HU ; 1 - W = the time you lose an HU ; 0.5$ = your buy in ; 0.42 $ = net amount won when you win an HU (0.46 x 2 - 0.50 = 0.42).. So you need to resolve this disequation : W x (0.42 $) - (1 - W) x (0.5 $) > 0  || 0.42W - 0.5 + 0.5W > 0 || W > 0.5/(0.5 + 0.42) || W > 0.54

 If you think that you can win more than 54% of the HU then you can play them...

Yes, but you need to get 60%

Yes, but you need to get 60% or more rakeback. Without rakeback you should not play them.

Winning players can't get 60%

Winning players can't get 60% rb anymore. The new rake system only guarantees that half your rake paid actually counts as rake paid. So even if you were to theoretically get 100% rb, in the new system, if you're a winner and you don't deposit, you'll only get 100% of your 50% rake (or 50% effective rb).

Reality is that most people are getting 25-50% range on average (as plenty of winners actually deposit, as they run into downswings).

Thx for your reply guys, I

Thx for your reply guys, my rakeback is only 20%, sometimes I get a ticket for $1 spins but is rarely, I decided move up to $1 and play them with a 15 buy-ins BRM even the $5

Must disagree with some of

Must disagree with some of the above comments. $0.50 hypers will be a great experience for a new player. Don't expect to make money but, at these stakes it will be very difficult to lose much money also.

If you're a beginning player, probably you are going to lose whatever game you play. The crucial thing is to get in as much experience as possible for as little investment as possible (and to have fun).

I'd say go for it! :D
