I am new to correct HU strategy, but not to poker, as I have been seriously studying and playing since 1996. Most years during that time, over half my income has come from poker, and it's been my full income for the last five+ years.Thought I have a nice-sized bankroll, I have decided to start at microstakes $2.20s and build up a necessary bankroll for each successive level before advancing. I started about ten days ago and I am currently at $5.25s. I am taking it veeeery slowly, studying at least as much as playing, and only single tabling. This is a huge change from what I've been doing for the last six years, 16-28 tabling small-stakes sng and/or cash games. My normal game previous to joining this site has been (a profitable) weak-tight style, but that abruptly changed two weeks ago. My hand reading ability has increased more in the last two weeks than previous six years.I already have a (free and very good) poker coach to talk about HU theory and specific hands with. What I would like to do is exchange tournament histories, complete with comments and have them reviewed and commented on by study partners. These HHs would be examined by using the Popopop Universal Replayer (free software). This process will take great effort, both for commenting on your thoughts in your own tournaments and thoroughly annotating the exchanged tournaments. It probably takes me about one to one-and-a-half hours to fully comment on one tournament, though of course you may be quicker. But I would like detailed observations and ideas, centering around adjusting to specific opponents and board texture postflop. I believe these are the two most important considerations to advancing your game.As I said, i am currently at the $5.25s and my goal is to move to at least $30 sngs by the end of the year. I would like study partners that have a good grasp of poker fundamentals and who are very serious about the game. I prefer your stakes to be in the $10-$20 range, but will consider $5.25s. I do not have experience yet playing correct HU strategy at those limits, but I will adapt very quickly. My AIM is qattack2008. I'm often logged in and away from my computer, so don't worry if I don't reply right away.
