Nash/endgame

Ok,so this is the situation.I was using sage at the endgame. Then i read a very good thread at 2+2 saying that sage is not perfect and i should use nash. Then i read that i should change my nash ranges depending to the vilain. So should i be advised from nash and make my changes at my ranges ,depending the vilain?Ps.I apologize for my English.Had a lot time to refresh them.

You should be shoving wider

You should be shoving wider than Nash from the start of your shove or fold area (usually 7-10bb for most professionals, above that limps and/or minraises are often a large part of your button strategy), at least against most opponents that are going to be calling with a moderate to much tighter range than Nash BB would suggest. From the BB, I would play Nash BB against loose and extremely loose open jammers, and tighten up against the tight open jammers (you'll find a lot of these, this is what you want, guys that open fold a large % and/or limp and don't raise or jam often when short stacked). And always adjust your default assumptions based on what you are experiencing in your every day games. If you think most of your opponents are open jamming close to Nash SB from 10bb, call with Nash BB.I semi regularly read some non heads up sng forums (SNG, books, beginner forums) and I've seen Nash referenced in a very unproductive way in a number of places lately. I think it just holds a lot of appeal to people seeking a fast and easy "solution" when the reality is that you always need to pay close attention to what your opponent is doing. You can basically disregard Nash SB above 10bb, just pretend the numbers literally don't even exist. Nash BB depends more on your opponent. If your opponent is limping or folding at 2bb, Nash BB isn't going to be applicable to your decision making. If your opponent is in shove or fold mode at 15bb, you might want to have a general sense of the Nash BB call range at that stack size, and/or how to deviate from it against an opponent that is shoving a lot wider than Nash SB, a little wider than Nash SB, at or near Nash SB, a little tighter than Nash SB or a lot tighter than Nash SB.
