Need a match review. HU SNG Super Turbo

Hey guys,

so i have start recording all my matches so i can review them after every session.

(why recording?; recording shows timing tells/tendencies which u can't see in a replay program(iguess?))

Normally i can do this reviews mostly myself.. since im pretty good at spotting my mistakes myself,

at the beginning of this match the guy was really really aggressive, didn't know what to do/think .

Thanks in advance!

Here are some quick

Here are some quick notes:

Note he folds his button early on. We can weight his btn ranges more accurately now. Very important to note folds early on.

T2o too strong to fold readless. Better to limp.

T4o is close to a flat, but he has folded a btn, so we can fold.

We limp 95o. Wp, however why did we fold T2o? Our ranges should be consistant.

Check raise J4 on 246 - bit spewy this. As a general rule dont turn showdown into a bluff. We can raise draws, gut shots and good top pair +. Raising a muggy middle pair may fold out overcards, but we can do better c/calling here.

Note villains bigger post flop sizings. If he bet big as standard then we want to start trapping our strong made hands.

J9, love the check on the flop.wp. however the min bet on the turn achieves nothing and can induce bluffs v some players at these stakes, betting again on the river is realky bad. Nothing better than j high will fold and nothnng worse than J high will call. We are neither value betting nor bluffing. Just check back, we only fold out Tx and we beat alk that anyway. Even worse we may induce a bluff from a random float. Just check down.

Note he flatted pre with 44.

93o after he misses his cbet, just lead turn and as played bet river. The low carss hit our check back range v limps and the low low high texture misses common limping ranges which comprise middling hands.

Note he limped A6s

82o we have reads that he is tight and passive. We shouldnt be folding out button. Limp or minr is fine.

T6o close to folding v tight player, but given how pssive he is call could be ok. However we can reduce chipstack variance in these close spots and fold. We will have higher edge spots further into the game for sure.

82o again nor folding my button v him

98s @ 10bb. Limp or shove.

84o @ 5.7bb bad shove. You can consult nash charts this shallow. We dont get enough folds to justify shoving. Just fold.

K8s. Just shove. We allow hands like JTs, QJ, K7o that would call a shove to flat and they play easily post flop. At shorterstacks positional advantage is greatly reduced, so we would prefer many hands to either get all in preflop or fold. Dont offer villain stategic options with this hand. Shove, or else limp. But shove

J2o we minr. This is ok with our tight reads, it just about junky enough to minr fold. And it is trash that we want to minr v a tight villain. Dont turn 98s into a bluff. Use trash. However limping may be better.

Q3s we should definately limp. Use trash to bluff with.

K6o, again dont minr. Villain is 3betting with a high frequency. So some Kx can start to shove. Limp if not shoving. Again minr the hands that you dont mind mucking like 82o

Q4, limp at 8bb

Note how tight he is on the button shallow. Reiforcing our earlier reads.

Q2 limp @ 6.5bb. Dont fold buttons without good reason. Our postitional advantage is preserved slightly in limped pots due to higher stacck / pot ratios. May not apply at 6.5, but we have folded too many buttons

58s ok to lead v some villains as we have a gutshot. However we have seen how tight he is on the button and also een his flat some strong hands pre (44 and A6s). So we can expect more traps. Xfolding fine here.

J7o @8bb well played.

25o 8bb, limp, dont fold.

43s 9bb. Close between leading and check calling. I prefer to c/ call, then c/ fold turn. Villain has been tight on the button and whilst by leading we fold out equity share, villains stronger range and the fact that the flop is good for common limping ranges I prefer checking. As played give up on the turn. The king hits floating ranges harder than your range. Also all draws and pairs continue v your sizing. Just give up now.

J8o @ 4.5bb wayyyy to tight. Very easy shove. Again consult nash here.

Overall you looked to pressure villain, but choose your spots. Think about your percieved range when betting and more importantly villains range. Think about why you are betting, whay betting achieves and what the best szing would be to achieve it.

Dont fold so many buttons. Try to limp more, and cut down on minraises shallow, especially when villains start 3bet shoving.

Start building reads early and apply them to similar situationa later in the game. Adjust your strategy according to those reads.

Good luck

Hi nice vid. Here are a few

Hi nice vid. Here are a few things I saw that may help you. Just constructive crit. Hope you dont mind.

00:53 - J4os, although very close to a call, is a fold for me. I do like the cr but if reraised all in are you calling? Villain isn't folding any flush draw or strong 6X. You need very goods reads to try this and there's no need to risk a lot of chips so early in the match.

01:37 - Continuation bet with J9os. Turn bet of 20 into 80 looks very weak. If you going to bet the turn here make it bigger (65). Unless you have 22 (which should be pushed pf at this depth) it's very hard for you to raise a hand pf with a 2 in, except A2, k2s of course. So villain is right to call the turn, especially for 20. Cbet of 40 and turn bet of 75 may have folded his fours. No matter what you bet on the river he's calling , so just check back.

03:00 - You can defend with 106os but perhaps not against this villain. We saw he didn't raise two hands ago with A6s. So what's he raising now? And once that A comes on the flop don't donk into him. 90 chips lost that could have been avoided by just giving up the BB.

03:25 - 98s is just a limp call. No need to raise here.

04:09 - 84os was nice :)

04:46 - J3os is a fold. Just wasting chips by raising with this hand if he pushes like he did and had been doing.

5:15 - Shove or limp K6os for 10BB. Min raising is worst option of the three.

05:40 - You can limp fold Q4os @ 8. Q2 the same.

07:18 - With the 43s hand, just give up on the turn once your donk is called. Also, no need to donk here, board hits a lot of his limping range @ this depth. Def no need for the turn bet and the size of the bet again looks very weak. If you going to go this route, go hard or go home, make it 140-150. And never make this river bet once the turn bet is called. The 5 completes nothing, unless you have pocket fives, which you don't because you'd be pushing them pf. By river betting here all you're doing is donating chips.

Looking forward to your next vid (y). Again all the above is just constructive crit (y)

Good luck

Theres a watermark in the videos.. its bandicam.

it can record op to 10 minutes each time which is enough. its really really easy to use, i record every game.

i have it on manual screen size, and all i need to do now is press record and stop.
