New product suggestion: The Rypac "Pack"

Greetings,I'm writing with a new product suggestion.  Before proceeding, I should give you a little background on my own involvement with the site.  I was originally a member in September or October of 2010.  Back then there was no such thing as a standard membership.  Also, many members were simply joining for a month and downloading everything on the site, then leaving.  So you eventually created a 3-month mandatory membership plan for new members.  My memory is a bit hazy on this.  The only other product at the time was the HokieGreg pack, which was previously offered on another site. It made sense that you created two separate memberships as newer members and beginners didn't necessarily need the more advanced high-stakes offerings.  Furthermore, I think your price points are fair.  All of this being said, I came up with a new idea for a product that could be purchased independently of the standard membership.  The idea of a competent player simply playing for several hours and offering commentary is very appealing to me.  I almost re-purchased the HokieGreg pack as my old computer died and I lost my old library of HUSNG videos.  However, I hesitated before purchasing the HokieGreg pack as I need something more applicable to my specific needs.  So here is my off-the-wall idea for a new product. Perhaps you could create a video series of yourself simply playing for several hours.  I'm thinking it would especially awesome if you had another commentator like Skates, Cog, Hokie, Croix, etc.  I'm thinking play at the $20 or $30 dollar level would be ideal.  Or you could play from limits ranging from $5 to $55 dollars.  This series could be seperate from a standard membership and offered for a reasonable price, perhaps $30 or $40 dollars.  I would be your first customer ;-)Thank you,Jeffrey

Hey Jeffrey,   - We had a

Hey Jeffrey, - We had a regular membership only for $65 a month for awhile.  In addition we had a beginner's pack ($40) and sampler pack ($20).  We also added the Hokie pack at some point in 2009 I believe ($40). - We added the standard membership around March of 2010 for $25.- We made the first month price for the premium membership $120.  Not necessarily because everybody was subbing for a month and downloading, but more because our library had grown quite a bit, so it was to more accurately price that "one month every so often" customer for the value they were receiving.  We also felt that the $65 membership price was much too low given that nothing like this was or is out there.  When we added the $25 price point, it was meant to allow players of all stakes access to quality material.Your idea is not bad and it is something that will be considered down the line perhaps.  However, we will have to have a full video schedule for this to happen, otherwise it will make more sense for me just to worry about filling standard videos.

Thanks for the feedback re: your site's development/vids

Greetings Ryan,Thank you for the rapid response to my product suggestion as well as clarifying your site's development and product offerings.  I'm of the opinion that you certainly offer players ample value for what they pay.  I'm delighted that you created a 'standard membership' as it was the impetus behind me rejoining HUSNG and playing online poker.  I would not have re-joined otherwise and now that I'm winning again, I may purchase a 3-month Premium membership in the coming months.  Again, thanks for considering my idea.  I'm sure you're inundated with various suggestions, and I'm pleased that you've acknowledged mine. Take care,Jeffrey
