Looks so horrible, but if villain is doing it to extract value he is obviously doing something wrong. From top of my head I would say he is trying to protect a weaker hand, like top/mid pair with weak kicker, or maybe turned twopair, which still has a decent chance to be outdrawn. So, whats basically happening? Villain mindonks. The purpose of it might be to draw a cheap card, induce aggression with weaker hands or make your hand transparent in case you just call (and he has Qx or 7x, so he is now relatively sure that you would probably raise Kx). So once you raise him, and he raises back so light, my thought is that what he is actually trying to do is taking initiative back (more likely then to induce further raise from you, but that is also an option, and that would make his hand very strong). With that in mind, I'm inclined to believe that he wants to try to fold out your hand on later streets and ofcourse, draw a card on his own betsizing terms, which would make me think most of his range is JT and T9. Qx, 7x, 88-JJ might be possible if villain believes that he induced a bluff from you.Turn is just puzzling. Makes me think villain actually 3bet the flop with attempt to fold your hand, so he decided to ship it for some extra fold equity. I think I would call.
now when i see your explanation i tend to belive he was on a draw , but the overpot shove on turn puts a lot of question marks for me and it could represent 2 pair, even so taking a look back i would call to thanks for your time
Well its quite terrible line, fish can often do chaotic stuff that make sense only to them. But if you think you have an edge, you can always fold a hand and beat a villain in a much less puzzling situations.
