Rake caps at $10 I believe, I think you get $100 + 9 and $200 + 10, but I'm not positive (it would also be $500 + 10, etc.).It makes for great high stakes rake rates.I was talking to another player about Party today, the games should still be soft, though action is not nearly as good as PokerStars (though should be a good bit softer).
so u are saying that it is 10% rack in $100 lvl?? it doesn't sound beatable to me in $100 lvl.. right? If u are right, I should start playing at party in $200 lvl then..
It would probably mean starting at the $200.Though if you don't want to split your bankroll up or for whatever reason you just want to play on Party only, you might find that the $100 level is plenty beatable. 10% is a lot, but in a slower structure vs competition you might have a huge edge against, it could be worthwhile I suppose to mix in some games (especially since Party isn't likely to have anywhere near close to PokerStars type traffic).I mean, I see HokieGreg clear out lobbies from $80 or so to $2000 on Merge, it obviously has advantages other than pure edge/hourly, but the reason why it can be an effective decision for him is really because action is slower. So what I'm trying to say is that you might find it makes some sense to play $100s on there at times, even if the rake is terrible, though starting at $200s if you can and trying to get as much action at $200+ levels (within proper bankroll risk) sounds like your best plan.
Although I mostly play cash at Party, I mixed in some Husngs before and despite some very good regs, the randoms are worse than the randoms at stars imo, but poor traffic. rake is capped at 10 as Ryan say from 200 on. gl
on lower levels rake is criminal, not sure how is on 100+ level though
