Year's Big Winner Leads the Way, With Familiar Faces Close Behind

This week was a pretty big week for high stakes heads up sit and go players. 7 players won over $10,000 and only two players were down money for the week, the worst being ~$5,000.

Dan "mrgr33n13" Colman Tops The List: $77,243 in Profit

Bouncing back from last week's heavy losses to Ike, Dan crushed it this week. He also added $21,644 on Full Tilt, under his alias riyyc225. On top of that, he was interviewed by HUSNG.com, and also started a challenge thread on the 2p2 forums. His words are pretty interesting and include how he met and was staked by livb at a young age, what motivates him and many other interesting anecdotes.

Rachid "SkaiWalkurrr" Ben Cherif Comes in Second Place with $63,423 Profit

Skai had a great week at the tables. We asked him which player he would take (besides himself) as the best chance of catching mrgr33n13 on the profit leaderboards this year. "Noone, but if I had to take one it would be killuifuplay," said Skai. His week's graph is below:

3rd Through 7th Place Winners

Olivier "Adonis112" Busquet took third with $46,808 in profit this week. Anthonyff had $33,457 in profit for the week and ChuckNorrisQ finished with $22,251. Mad_domonox put together a solid week with $12,347 and Alex "Lotte Lenya" Timman rounds out the five figure winners list with $11,380.

We asked Alex what he thought the chances were of SkaiWalkurrr catching mrgr33n13 on the 2013 profit list were. He said, "I think mrgr33n will win, he has the most peculiar hunger. He also hasn't played online in awhile, so I think he'll last."

Other Winners

Eric2441989 won $8,412 this week. Sifosis got back into the black with $7,918. Slovenian legend mtvdeuem finished with $7,124 while Brazil's own n00ki5 had $5,684. V2the3, off to a great start on the year, finished with $3,322.

High stakes veteran Siervos totalled $3,236 in profit. MOCA CHOCA89 won $3,214, while qihu00 won $3,113. Martin "0PIGGYBANK" made $2,691. PokerStars Online Pro Grayson "spacegravy" Physioc totalled $2,296 in winnings, Leon "flippetyflop" $2,260, Zak "BOOMF" Wray $1,847 and caaaaamel had $653 dollars.

Losing Weeks

Only two players lost money this week, including Ankush "Pistons87" Mandavia, who ended up winning over $30,000 in all SNG action this week, but in heads up lost $2,152. Russia's heads up superstar WhatIsICM finished down $5,858 on the week. We're confident that he'll rebound from his down week.
