Hello all,I'm a beginning HU player and have been playing a couple of hundred HU SNG $6 on both pokerstars and fulltilt. On pokerstars with reasonable success however on fulltilt I seem to struggle more. The sample is not that huge and EV wise I seem to have been running well at PS and quite the opposite on FT. However I also feel I struggle more with the flow of the game in FT due to the different structure (not sure if this makes sense). However, are there any adjustments to be made between the different sites that I should be aware off? Thanks in advance for your help
Hey man,Here are the minutes it takes on average to complete 4 different types of games (another member posted it few days ago)
If you compare fulltilt/stars turbos, you can see there is a difference of approx. 2 mins which means turbos on fulltilt have a faster structure. People often say that Full Tilt regular speed are about the same as Stars turbos. The faster the structure, the lower the ROI, the higher the variance etc...However, it does not mean less $/hour (which is the stat you should focus on (improving your game aside)). So it's all about what you prefer and what kind of player you are. Do you tilt heavily? Do you get bored easily? Do you like to push or fold? Also, what software/lobby do you prefer to play at? Do you have rakeback on FullTilt (because if you don't, I don't see any reasons to play there at the micro/low stakes)? You say you have success on Stars and not on fulltilt. While it can depends of a lot of things (running bad, playing better/worst, variance etc...), why don't you stick to Stars then? You don't like it?Cheers!
I'd play 6$ on FT because of faster game speed and rakeback.
I like PS but I would also prefer to play FT because of the rakeback. It's kind a tough to get to supernova on PS playing the $6...
you might want to look in to your end game to, if you are better playing the stars games you have more time at the early stages, where fulltilt you will likely spend more time in the later stages, watch some Mersenneary end game videos imo
