I havent played any online poker since BF, and is now interested in getting back to some online poker......
Just downloaded the Lock POker software. I wanted to ask any Lock HUSNG players, on the rake per game for each HUSNG match.....
Probably thinking of depositing around $200-300.... what do u guys think is a more lucrative proposition, to grind $15 turbos, or play 50NL????. personally think i still have edge in these games..
THnx for help...
If you're playing $15 level games, I would play another network. Merge, Bovada, even Winning Network.
The problem with Lock is they take 10 weeks or so to pay their USA players right now, and if you want to trade the money off you need to give up 25% of value. Either of those two options makes playing the other networks a better proposition for all but higher level players with grandfathered high rb deals (even then, it's only bc Bovada is the only USA network with similar traffic at $100+ stakes and they don't offer hypers).
Also, 50NL is going to be a much larger risk than $15 level HUSNGs. I wouldn't consider playing on 5 or 6 buyins at 50NL (obviously if you plan to reload, then it can make sense to do so, assuming you have 3-5 reloads in your roll minimum).
rypac what is ur opinions on carbon poker?
and what site available to US players, have the highest traffic for either HUNL or HUSNG?
thanks for u advice
I think Carbon is currently the only place worth playing on Merge, though things change so frequently on that network.
I don't love the way the Network has gone on Merge. Security, policies, communication, it's all just been terrible. But I think Carbon is a pretty good group of people that have a better understanding of poker and care more about the players than the network as a whole.
Traffic wise, Bovada and Revolution have the most for HUSNG guys, followed by Merge, then Winning Network (BCP, ACR, True, etc.).
If you're at $30s and below, I'd just play on Winning, games are incredibly soft and cashouts are so much superior and cheaper than any other network around.
