Hi i was reading the blog of Dbasio and noticed that in one of his posts he sai that rakeback made up a percentage of his mnonthly profit. I thought he was a Pokerstars player and Pokerstars dont give rakeback do they?
I am a pokerstars player and a break even player over a large sample at HU (for now) so rakeback would make me a profitable player. I love Pokerstars and love the software. For some reason i dont have sucess on Full Tilt over a small sample but i have rakeback there.
1) do FPPs count as rakeback in some way if so how?
2) Am i wrong to feel that Full Tilt software is in anything other than totally random and fair ( i think i know what the answer will be, as a few players here are big winners) I used to mistrust Pokerstars software but now that i have had 2.3 k games on the site i feel it has been fair overall
3) If you say that Tilt is as good as POkerstars which would you play in my boots
Tx, great site
1) Dibasio was almost certainly referring to FPPs as a form of rakeback. He likely just redeems them for cash bonuses. You can visit pokerstars.com and their VIP section to see the types of cash bonuses available in exchange for FPPs. For a supernova it will amount to the mid 20% range in terms of rakeback, for supernova elite it can reach into the 60s I believe. Otherwise, you're usually in the teens as far as % goes if you're a silver, gold or platinum star.
2) FTP and Stars should be fair. Nobody has yet to find a flaw or error or lack of fairness in the way they deal the cards or run their lobbies.
3) If you find the software equally comfortable, can get rakeback on FTP (visit our rakeback.husng.com page for more information) and you don't play high stakes (110+ basically meaning you can't achieve supernova status on Stars), then I'd say to play Full Tilt. If some of those do apply to you, then you might want to consider playing Stars, but it would depend specifically on your situation.
