Rakeback question

Hi hu sng membersI am playing hu sng on party poker. I play the 11$ and 22$.I am bronze or silver member and I only get like 4-5 % in rakeback? It is the same on Pokerstars with their VIP program. How many hu sitngoes is it necessarily to play to get something like 20-30 in rakeback? And how do you guys move up in stakes from 11 and 22 when you dont get anything in rakeback at lowstakes?I know that small sites offer 30-40% in rakeback but I want to play at party or stars because of the traffic.I hope you can help answer my question.Sibusisuz

- I think you need to be Gold

- I think you need to be Gold Star to really get into the 20% range.- It used to be 600-1000 in rake per month to reach Gold Star I believe, but am not positive.  You can check PokerStars site for the exact numbers.  If you post the FPPs per $1 in rake and the Gold Star mlutiplier I believe that's all that is needed to figure it out.- PokerStars has a much larger husng population.- While Party is the 2nd or 3rd largest poker site in the world (behind PokerStars which takes it by a mile, pokerscout.com to get a good idea), Party's rake at the lower levels is a bit high, even if you did have 30% rakeback.  What are the buyins and amount of rake at each level that you play?  You can probably get comparable traffic on iPoker with a better VIP reward than either of those sites.- Redbet has decent traffic at your stakes and has a better offer too, I know you said you wanted more traffic, so this might not be your first option, but it is worth considering.

Okay I will try to compare

Okay I will try to compare stars and party but stars is not tax free in Denmark. We have to pay like 40-50% of winnings in taxes because they dont have an EU license. buyin is 11 with 0,75 in rake and 22 with 1,5 in rake so I have to play a lot to reach gold star. How did you move up in stakes? Did you play like 1000 hu sitngos per month. Is it a help to use a HUD for hu sng in your opinion? Thank you for answering.

Hi, - Ouch, those taxes are

Hi,- Ouch, those taxes are definitely rough.  What other sites can you play in Denmark tax free?  PokerStars is definitely not your best option if you have to pay taxes there but not on other sites.- Double ouch for Party Poker rake, 7.5% is well over 50% higher than what most sites charge.- I didn't play nearly 1k games per month, but I'm also not a 6 figure profit/professional grinder/player.  You get what you put in, so aiming for 1k games a month is very good if you want to play this game professionally.  If you look at the most successful guys in this game, none of them have major volume issues.- HUDs can definitely help, sure.  If you're playing a lot of games each month then it makes sense to spend the $10-20 on a solid HUD, otherwise just use the free awesome HUD v1 (you can find a link on the awesome HUD page on the right side of our site, or on 2p2's heads up sng forum where the free thread is).  Just don't rely on the HUD, use it to gather additional information to help you in your decision making, it shouldn't replace your reads or observational information though.
