Loving the beginner 's videos massively, I am totally new to husng! I play MTTs but think husng's could well be the way forward. I am winning player but seem to struggle to get the volume in and the variance can be a killer. With the larger fields the tournies can last forever too! I loved those days when the players were all tight and the fields were so much smaller!
Please be realistic but what level could even an average player who uses this site, studies, uses the forums, self evaluates, asks lots and lots of (dumb) questions and works had at his game achieve? I understand that it would be a massive amount of work but i dont mind that at all. Would it be a steady second income even for an average player who doesnt have a phd in maths (just a degree in marketing)? Or is $20 an hour possible even for the average guy who works hard at his game? If so what levels would i need to be beating?
Im 34 have had my own business for 10 years (its killing me) and one day would like to sell it but would still want a steady income somehow.
I know this is a proper newb post but just want to get a handle on what is or isnt achievable before I dive into into it so I can be realistic about where i can get too even as a total beginner
Thanks
I think that probably 95% of players doing the work you describe would end up somewhere between the $22s and $1100s. I think that narrowing it down any more would be unrealistic. It varies a lot from person to person. $20/hour is a very easily attainable longterm goal for a serious player in HUSNGs.
thanks im going to give it a shot over the next few months and see if i can start beating the low levels and see what happens. Although to make the hourly rate i would like id have to beat the 50s as a newb that seems along along way off but well see. I will become a fully paid up member on here once ive worn out the beginners pack as i imagine that can only help too.
Cheers
