Looking for a coach for 30s and 60s hypers. Mostly I just want to ask them questions over Skype whenever questions come up. Anyone got a recommendation plus costs? Thanks
Cog Dissonance. Had 7 lessons (3 hyper, 4 turbo) with him and he is a great coach, online a lot in skype and did also answer plenty of questions to hands outside of the coaching time.
If you're interested in someone more mathy and aggro, you can also message me (here on husng.com is best, i can then give you my skype). I definitely have a very different style from Cog so it can give a different perspective on the game.I have yet to make a coaching page because I seem to have enough demand without one and I'm afraid to get overwhelmed, but I do have packages etc avaialble :D
I find it a wrong information, that Cog is coaching a passive style. It is true that he developed some kind of limping heavy strategy, but he has a very agressive basic-style as far as hyper-hu-sng go.
Cog used to play a lot more of a limping style and a tighter style years ago in regular speed/deeper games and it made him a ton of money, so that is really where his reputation as the "tight limping guy" comes from.
Yeah, never meant to imply Cog is tight passive. My style is different compared to most players since i play such a high vpip IP and OOP. I just say that I'm more aggressive and mathy based on what i've seen from his videos where in a lot of spots I would have taken a more agressive line, or had more exact calculated minr/call, 3b shove ranges etc. These days it's possible I limp more than him :D
