Skates, I really enjoyed that article you posted on 2+2 about 4-man HUSNGS. The math made my head hurt a little, but I think I understood the gist of it. I've heard arguments for the "play" and "not play" sides for a long time and it was nice to read someone's thorough, definitive explanation. Maybe it could be re-posted in the Articles section? It will no doubt be a question asked on here (again and again).
I would also be interested in this article.
hmmmm I'll have to ask someone if I own the rights to it or not. I might not technically be able to re-post it.
EDIT: Also, some of the replies in that thread were not so hot... This was before I was really accepted in the 2+2 community and most of my posts were like "I don't really like your line because x,y,z"... I think people hated me for a while. Then I started posting results and people stopped thinking I was a moron and listened to what I had to say.
I think that it took longer for people to accept you because your playstyle is so much different from the norm. Out of all of the players I know, I'd say that yours is the most different from mine. When you first started on 2+2 (back in the $22s?), I thought that you were going to be a non-winning player on a heater. It looks like I was wrong though! You ended up being one of the players I learned the most from.
Agreed with xSCWx except I thought you were a winner who was running hot, and was maybe a little cocky? Lol.
I think you were running hot in the 115 or 230s or whatever it was, and you're obviously a winner, though not cocky, so I guess I 66% had you pegged correctly!
And I believe you can repost your article as long as it wasn't published in 2p2's magazine (I think you're referring to a Heads Up NL forum article you wrote, which I believe you can republish here). Best to check with Mat Sklansky on that one. Also, I can't recall the specific article off hand, but if you have anything to add to it and you republish it here, there's absolutely nothing wrong with retooling it some.
We could always link it if you can't repost, I may search for it this evening. It occurs to me it my be linked in the 2p2 sticky.
Cliff notes of the thread? I am interested in the 4-mans and would like to hear some pros and cons.
