Stars: Switching from Turbo to Hyper Turbo SNGs...for sure...but WHEN?

Hello all.I have changed from FR SNGs to HU Turbos a couple of days ago. One of the reason when I switched from FR SNGs (Turbos) to HU was that I did want to play Hyperturbo HU SNGs.Now, I have all ready studied the fundamental videos (fundamental concepts and intermediate concepts) by primo as well as the game vs his students and Rypacs Endgame  introduction. I also have played a couple of HUs (should be around 50 right now) single-tableing and more are comeing.Long story short: does it make sense to stay on the Turbos any longer and 'sharpen the knowledge' or are hyper turbos so very different to play that it would be prefereable to learn directly how to play them, avoiding any confusion because of the differences between Turbo and Hyper turbos? Thanks in advance for the advice.CheersBarrin

Turbos should put you in

Turbos should put you in similar situations to hypers often enough to where a lot of the hyper skills you build will suit you pretty well in turbos. It's not the same game, but there's a reason why the best turbo players on FTP way back when were the best mid to end game players, and those guys were the same ones that had quick and sustained super turbo success.Take a look at some of the newer end game leakfinders and end game videos, also take a look at every Mersenneary standard membership video, he has a few end game type ones that are excellent.

Hello Rypac, thanks a lot for

Hello Rypac, thanks a lot for the quick answer. So basically, one can start with the hyper-turbos from scratch (with little Turbo experience)?Regarding the videos; I all ready watched video 59 and 60 of Cog - but I did not find any slide-show kind of video for this kind of tournament - am I mistaken or is this just the way it is?Thanks a lot for the hint with the Mersenneary video, I will watch it first thing tomorrow! ;-)What is the suggested BRM for Hypers? Somewhere I read that it should be 50-75 BI?

50-75 is OK, it really

50-75 is OK, it really depends on your winrate (that directly influences the chance you go broke), so a really good ST player may have a lower risk of busting with 40 buyins than a slight winner with 60 buyins.I didn't mean slideshow, Cog has an older super turbo slide show video from December, but he has mentioned that his opening ranges in there are too tight and not indicative of where his game is at today.  I'm sure it's still fine to watch, but the newest videos are most ideal, especially from guys like Cog that are grinding and coaching a ton of hours each month (so they continue to improve at a fast pace on average).
