Hi GuysI have have recently switched to HUSNG to learn something new. Primo talks about starting ranges for opening and defending. Do you have a starting hand charts that you can provide as a general framework.I did do a search and apologise if the question has been asked before. RegardsRevolt12
Hey Revolt,The hand ranges change a lot from player to player, facing a 3x raise, facing a 2x raise, facing a 2.5x raise, a limp, and anything frequencies of each/any of those. The stack sizes also play a factor. The most important thing is probably how your opponent (and you) play postflop. If you really have identified spots where you can make a player fold a high % of hands or immediately tell that they have a strong hand, playing a lot of hands OOP makes a lot of sense, even if they are pretty weak hands. If you're playing a hyper aggressive opponent that bets a lot and doesn't tend to fold on later streets, playing weak hands OOP is not generally ideal, since you need some hand strength to play back at the player and win pots (even if that hand strength is as weak as K hi, you can't make K hi with 74s).Your question does make sense to me. Perhaps a dozen well explained charts could be a good idea to help people understand the types of ranges (not exact, as you say a general framework) and adjustments that you should make against your opponents and why you're making them. I'll discuss it with the other coaches, this may turn into an article.
