Hi,I've had some experience playing 9 handed SNGs but I'm looking at transitioning into playing 6 max which obviously require more postflop knowledge.As I like to never touch cash games, I think HUSNGs are a good way to learn those skills - I played some around the start of the year and find it an interesting formatI will be playing on an iPoker sire where I will keep all of my bankroll - around $550. Are the $5 non-turbos a good way to start or should I just delve into turbos right away?thanks
The best way to learn 6 max is playing 6 max.What you miss in HU SNG:- ICM- Being in the 'sandwich'- Other payout structure- Bubbleetc. pp.Being a former 9man SNG player I can ensure you that my HU play got way better (and this is something you can take over to 6 max SNGs as well) but you are missing out on a lot of other stuff when you focus on HU SNG only.If you insist on doing it anyways......go with the Turbo HU SNG.
