Thinking of switching sites

Been on Pokerstars forever. But with the recent addition of Hypers, there is a real lack of action at the $60 and $100 Reg Speed games. That being said, I would like to move to a site with rakeback, since playing at the $30-$60 level, especially at Regular speed, make it near impossible to clear worth while bonuses. I think Merge no longer offers rakeback?Any suggestion from Ry or other guys on here? I do not want to waste my time dealing with just any site offering rakeback since often they have shitty traffic and awful software. Thanks in advance.

Merge is offering VIP now,

Merge is offering VIP now, depending on volume (it can be up to 45%).  However, they are closed to new US signups, but do take US players.  The impact of that is that the games are a bit tougher than PokerStars or many euro only networks.  The other potential impact is safety.  It's recommended by most players to keep the minimum on US facing sites, due to the unknown aspect of how they operate (for example, nobody predicted bank fraud/wire fraud charges from FTP and PokerStars, both privately held companies that serviced US players). We have some new deals coming up on IPN (boss) and iPoker, that should be the best possible deals for heads up sng players.  I was hoping to get those up on Monday, but I've been informed that they will not be active until tomorrow (you can PM me for details there and live service, or wait until tomorrow when the deal of the month page will have a full update with at least four offers).I would suggest looking at iPoker or IPN for now.  I'll figure out the structures, rake and effective rake (rake you pay after VIP/rb rewards). If you're interested in signing up on Merge, I suggest going with Black Chip.  Their customer support is excellent and their rewards are at the top of the industry (in fairness most skins offer pretty much the same thing right now and probably always will, as they have moved into a VIP system).Traffic wise, PokerStars, Party and iPoker should have more traffic than Merge, but Merge should be around the line of acceptability for your buyin levels (Hokie has played just under 1k games on merge post black friday and has made 32k, which should give you an idea of what higher stakes guys can accomplish at the higher end of the skill level).  The problem with Party is that it is only a wise place to play for heads up sngs if you play the $200+ levels or you play a little lower but qualify for their 50% VIP (basically rakeback).  If that's the case, just contact me and we can get you setup right away.  We also can get your VIP level started out at an equal level to your previous VIP level on PokerStars or FTP or any poker room.  So if you were a supernova on PokerStars and want to take advantage of some of the softer action at the $200 Party husngs, we can get you setup for Party's equivelant VIP level from day 1.Let me know if you have any questions about any of this.

Ill PM you in a few days if I

Ill PM you in a few days if I decide to switch and find out about rakeback promo codes and whatnot, or I guess check out what updates you have for tomorrow.Concerning Boss and Ipoker... You feel there "Regular" speed games resemble Stars the most? But right off the top of my head, I know Party is not an option for me. I wont play 200+, but more than anything, their software tilts the shit out of me. I find it impossible to play 2 tables at a time.

I'm still waiting on the

I'm still waiting on the networks to give me codes so that I can post the offers. The offers are all ready to go, as is the page (it's sitting here on my tab, all edited, I just need to insert tracking code links and hit enter, when they give them to me). They initially told me Monday.  On Wednesday they told me it would be a few more days.  I'm at the mercy of companies larger than HUSNG, unfortunately. The offers will be PokerStars, iPoker, IPN (Boss) and Party Poker.  I'll probably throw up Everleaf after I read up on them a bit more, they appear to be the only reliable US facing network for players (Bodog can be as well, but offers few player incentives, Merge is closed to US players at the moment).

Hey RyPac!Im playing the ST

Hey RyPac!Im playing the ST at stars for the moment, im at platinum level and think I could get to SN in 2-3. What would you suggest, continue playing the ST on stars or moving to another site where the playerpool is weaker and with better rakeback/VIP deals? Heard Phmerc saying that bodog is really soft, is it worth it?

I would stick with Stars if

I would stick with Stars if you're platinum, on your way to supernova and beating the hypers on Stars.  You can't find a better, cheaper raking super turbo structure online and your rewards are already 25%, on your way to over 30%.If you don't want to play hypers, then you might have some decisions to make.Bodog is soft, but US facing + slower cashouts + stops at $100 level + no hypers + no rakeback.  So all of that combined, I would certainly choose Stars over Bodog, since you do have the option of Stars being non US.
