TPNK got CR on the first hand

Pretty standard imo, but I have post it, 'cause he is a winning player and maybe he thinks he can scare me off the hand

We have top pair. I'm

We have top pair. I'm calling this and willing to call another normal sized bet on a non club turn.

 Folding here isn't good

Folding here isn't good without some strange reads.  I know this is weird to think about, but you have an ace blocker, making it so much less likely he has one.  If you're really worried about multiple streets, you could 3bet/fold, but you shouldn't be that scared with top pair here.

    3bet fold will not

3bet fold will not commit us to the pot?

3bet/folding?

i don't think 3bet/folding is good on this board because a draw could shove over you.
also, if he has an ace, you could get called by a mediocre but better ace...

3bet/folding is not cheaper than calling flop+turn, and you don't get any value from worse hands (draws).

i would say it's ok to 3bet/fold if you expect villain to be the kind of players who bet 3 streets even if he misses a draw.
but at this point, 3bet/folding with air it's just the same.

a question to skates: isn't 3bet folding something you should preferably do with air and in very aggressive game/metagame?

If he is a winning player

If he is a winning player then my concern would be that this is a board he could bluff raise on. I'd just peel the card and reevaluate on the turn.

 Re: badboyboogie0
You're right.  Thing is, if we're 3betting A2 here (under the assumption villain will never call and never bomb draws), it is a bluff, but it reduces the number of possible value hands villain can have dramatically.
The best line is almost always call/reeval because turn action can mean a lot of things.  We can bomb turn and river if he checks on a club.  We can fold on a club if he leads.  We can vbet if he checks on a blank, we can call if he bombs on a blank or fold if it's likely connected with the 5/9.
I was just stating that if you want to fold here, you should consider bluffing with a 3bet.
