Value betting readless

Basically if you flop a big hand very early on in a match, what kind of quantity of the pot is it considered best to bet for value? I usually bet the flop with my standard c-bet size of 2/3rds pot, but I'm never sure how much to bet on the turn and river. Though obviously this depends a lot on the board and the chance that the villain has hit some part of his hand are, and perhaps how thin your value is, but are there any general guidelines available?

It is very range dependent

It is very range dependent for sure, but to make a sweeping generalization, on the bigger side is often better against recreational players. They tend to be looser and less discerning about betsizes. But they're mostly thinking about their own cards and how strong those are just in terms of basic hand rankings, so think about their range and go from there.
