Yes, you do receive a discount for your membership upgrade if you purchase the HokieGreg video pack and decide to upgrade later.
For example, if you purchase the pack now for $39.99 and would like to upgrade in the future to a full membership, you would pay $64.99-$39.99 for your first month, or $25 dollars.
Note that if we change our membership pricing system in the future we may not be able to offer the same type of discount, so it's not a neverending extension discount. It will apply, however, for no shorter than a month from your video pack purchase and as long as our current rates stay the same or increase you will receive a $40 discount.
To exemplify the previous paragraph, if we decided to drop our rates to $40 a month, we wouldn't be able to extend a $40 discount to you for membership. We do not have plans to do this currently, it is just an example and a heads up.
