To solve this problem you

To solve this problem you need to imagine villain's range and your equity. You can use PokerStove, it's a free soft which is very heplful for such situations.
For example, your 2nd nuts FD + gutshot draw + 2 overcards has
vs. A8o  - 62%
vs 67 -   49.9%
vs 96 (straight) - 40,3%
vs 78 (2 pair) - 42,8%

Then, you have to calculate pot odds. You need to put 1160 chips, remaining in your stack, to win a final pot 2800. That means you need to win ~41,4% of time to justify your call.

Now, you can evaluate your chances. Even if your opponent has a very strong hand (2 pair or straight), your call should be around 0 EV. But if you think about villain's play, it's doubtful that he has made straight right now. He need to call preflop with hand 96 either 46 to made a straight, many players dont play such hands OOP. Also if he has a straight, it's not necessary for him to force action.

His agressive play probably meaning that he has strong draw (for example 67 - pair + open ender) or vulnarable hand (top pair or 2 pairs).

Next factor - buyin of this tournament. On the high stakes most players are not so crazy to put all chips on such board with just top pair. But on the lower stakes there are too many weak players, who over-estimate their hands often.

So, you can re-evaluate villain's range basing on his preflop play, agressive action on flop and buyin of tournament. I think your equity against him is close to 50% (coinflip), which means you have to call because of pot odds.

Wow. Great reply!!! Never

Wow. Great reply!!! I should get pokerstove..seem to be pretty good program.

He had 2 pairs (8,5) but His hand hold so I lost it.  I put him on a top pair/over pair so I snapcalled him.

.. vs 58 (2 pair) - 42,8%

Pretty close but not that big mistake anyways.

Thanks!
