I was generally a 6 max cash player as well as DoNs. The manner of those 2 games did not really appeal to me because I felt that I was Automating too much in 6max and DoN was all about Tight/ICM play at the bubble. I got hooked on HUSNG because, to me it felt like I was involved 100% of the time with the hands.
So I started to play $5 HUSNGs while clearing kickback bonuses. I had problems adapting to the HU game because of my playing styles in the past. That's where I turned to this site after I reached the bottom point at the 40 game mark(losing about 70% of original deposit). So about 10 days ago I signed up for this site and spent about 3 days focusing on various aspects of HUSNGs.
I am playing low stakes SNGs at the moment and despite what many people are saying about the lack of content geared towards low-mid levels. What I was able to garner from Primordial + Cog's videos + Rypac Endgame definitely gave me some clues on how to play, attack and counter the players. It took another 60 games to internalize and get used to the concepts that were fresh to me.
The recovery came about 5 days after I started playing with tips I've learnt from the various videos where I stopped referring to notes taken during the videos and I was almost able to play without looking at the Nash table at all. Now that I've managed to make this recovery from the seemingly impossible swing downwards, I definitely feel more confident about HUSNG.
Looking forward to watching more videos and learning from others on this site :) Hopefully with more time and learning I'll be able to move up in stakes to the $10s and $20s.
That's great, keep up the good work.
definently agreed, very nice job
