some hands i played today at the 220$ level vs IT2WUi was very surprised when he sat me, i know im not all that great in turbos, or at least not like he is, but i just feel like its not really cool, to sit one of your former students after them talking strat with you, and you shaping their game and then sitting you, but whatever, its no biggie, and he has to protect his lobbys i guess so whatever, just need some input so i can play better vs him in the future... these where the only noteworthy hands, in the end at 25bbs, he minraised and i shipped 55 he snapped KQo im also wondering if this is standard/good play? KQo will VERY often be dominated by my reshipping range, or flipping. esp at 25bbs at 12 it would be diff, but at 25 i feel like all hes ever seeing is A9+ KT+ and 22+in the first hand, i wonder, what his possible holdings could be, for him to fold the turn there for 500 more, i also wonder, if he would have the nut flushdraw for example, should he call? I'll let some others take a shot at these before I add some advice. I will say from the start that KQ is a call against most people, and he doesn't know your specific re-shipping range. Calling it off is standard.
I'm not sure you rep a lot on that 9s7s hand. You probably don't have any (very little at best) 4x in your range that shallow. KQ 3bets pre. KJs 3bets pre & maybe you do w. KJo as well. KTs 3bets pre & probably jams flop or at least leads turn. The same obv goes for KTo postflop. K6s is about the only reasonable Kx hand you make it to that river with. All other river value hands probably fold earlier in the hand.
i think leading the 97ss hand is optimal, c/c even with bdfd seems way too weak specially against a good player (that already has a grasp about your play) and c/f is meh bc i would assume he cbets a fair bit so he can be cbetting pretty much ATC here, maybe u can make an argument for c/r but flop is so dry that i think he is calling u off very light
I know that this is years old, but seeing response to this would be nice. Also what KQ is Mers talking about?
i think mers was saying KQ raise/call at 25bbs is standard vs most players (wide) reshove ranges. I think it's a mistake to just flat 44 pre 26bb deep just because he raise/called KQ last time... of course it depends a bit on IT2Wu's opening %. But generally I don't think we can really assume implied odds are good enough to flat a small pair here. Id reship 44 preI play T8s the sameId reship 79s as well for 18bbs, doesnt flop TP enough, not amazing implied odds for str8s/flushes, plus its just such a good hand to have in your reshove range. As played, i'd lead or c/r or c/f flop. c/c seems a bit desparate (ive been there so many times!)K4s, vs a player who plays back and/or expects you to play back a lot, i prefer c/c TT5cc flop (or of course c/f is always fine :P). You have showdown value + you can rep Tx and flushes well by leading turn (or c/c a turned 4/K). But the stronger the villain, the more i just like a c/f on that hand...

KQ was to JTS' initial description.Reship 44 pre, for sure. ITRIED's turn size sucks big time here - there's no need to bet so big if he's just floating thinking JTS has air a big %, trying to take the pot away on the turn. JTS's range is super polarized. A small bet is all that's necessary to fold out the air portion.T8 hand is fine. There are regs who simply don't double barrel enough and you can fold here vs them, but bad readless on this board given all the draws and the fact that ITRIED is competent enough.79s is close readless, it's a +EV shove but going to have very good expectation flatting as well, iirc ITRIED's opening range at this tack depth is wide enough that jamming pre is best. Kind of a weird spot post given stack sizes. 130 on this board is more likely to be air with him (obv you're not going to know that) but it's weird trying to decide whether to check/raise or not given remaining stack depths. Many regs you can lead here and they won't have the stones to play back. I'm OK with just flatting, your river bet doesn't rep a ton though, you're c/r Tx on the flop almost always so this is either a weird 6x or an inducing play with Kx. The thing is bigger doesn't really represent a lot either except for 4x, but there are obvious missed draws for you to have.On the TT5 since you're only going to c/r some of the time you might as well just only always do it with at least two overs to 5x, kind of doesn't make a lot of sense to pick a hand like K4. Hand is fine after that.
