Seems like an innocent question to me...Skype is free for what poker players use it for (talking to one naother via skype and a microphone and sending files).There are fees/plans for using it as a phone, i believe, but that is talking from Skype to phones, not Skype to Skype (which is free).

There's a few skype groups going on now.I'm still working on some ways to make a group or two and have been discussing this with a handful of users in the last few days.My best idea so far is to have a general HUSNG group chat and a HUSNG study group chat. The former would basically be a place where heads up players can chat, talk, meet and ask questions. The latter would be a little more tightly controlled, and fully focused on dedicated, motivated players that want to discuss strategy.The biggest complaint that I've been hearing is that too many users aren't taking studying seriously and are turning chats into off topic/unfocused chat and ultimately ending up being a distraction to users. A general group would allow off topic chatter, while a focused strategy group would eliminate off topic chatter. This would ideally allow users of all interests the advantage of a group chat specific to their needs.You can post any suggestions you have here, it's something I've been exploring for awhile now, but specifically in the last week or two (as chatter and interest on study groups has also picked up on 2p2 recently).
well, def the 2 skype groups would be great in order to filter out noise...I don't think husng study group chat should also so serious, I mean, if a player want to discuss that's ok, if it is not, that's all right too... that chat would be great to have a quick feedback on hands and it can help people to discuss hands, because typing on skype is much better and quicker than posting on a forum
