This guy has been ramping up aggression preflop, but not seeming to get out of line at all postflop. Over a small sample of 28 matches, he's been ITM 60.8%. He has been raising my limps with 40% of his hands. He shoved the river somewhat quickly after a brief pause. I don't believe he'd be doing this with anything less than a queen, unless maybe it's a complete bluff, and I see very few queens in his range...specifically QJ, Q6, or Q5, but I don't believe he would have called a flop raise with the latter two hands. So maybe I answered my own question...since I've narrowed down his two pair range to specifically QJ, I have a super-easy call here? And I think he would have raise preflop with QJ or QTs.
I think your right in your process when you narrow down his range. given he attacks a somewhat high% if your limps, its hard to put him alot of hands so a call should be good here most of the time.I def have to practice going through this "narrowing down range thought process street-by-street" a lot more, cause it makes a lot of the decisions easier in the end.
I think you played this hand really well. He likely folds the turn with a Q6 or Q5 type hand so his hands that beat you range are AK clubs, QT clubs and QJ. This range is tiny so you have an easy call. I also think your bet sizing was good throughout the hand. MW
Honestly, I think I can eliminate at least AK and QTs from his range because he would almost definitely have raised those preflop because he was being quite aggro. Thanks again for the comments.
