Greetings,I'm writing with respect to a video suggestion. Basically, I know the 'leakfinder' videos have a lot of appeal for many students. They have helped me as well. However, my learning style and preference is for videos that offer the conventional approach of a coach playing and explaining their decisions. I know I wrote to Ryan about creating the "Rypac series" that was basically the equivalent of Hokie Greg's series, except with Ryan and Skates (or Cog, Hokie, Croix, etc.) working as a team. This would have been an additional offering and I would be the first customer. Of course, I don't actually expect HUSNG to undertake my specific suggestion-it was just an idea. But basically I just want to let HUSNG know that this student prefers videos that offer the conventional approach. I know Cog Dissonance has made scores of videos with this format and I'm grateful to him for his ability to simultaneously educate and entertain. Also, most of the other coaches have made videos in a similiar vein. The slide show presentations followed by the coach playing is another style I prefer. I just wanted to give you my two cents as a standard member.Thank you,Jeffrey (who appreciates all the effort Ryan has committed in responding to my posts)
We will have some upcoming videos that are presentation or coaching playing/making their own decisions. It wasn't necessarily planned to have so many leakfinders lately. Obviously some people really like them, but we don't mean to have so many leakfinders aside from Fydor's regular ones each month.
Greetings Ryan,I appreciate the fact that you'll have some upcoming videos that are more to my liking. The leakfinders are obviously incredibly useful on various levels as the viewer can vicarously play the hand through the student. That being said, I'm totally stoked that you are producing more videos in the conventional format. Thanks for the update. Jeffrey
