More hu PLO videos please. Some basic maths videos - odds etc. Some of the vids are info heavy, lots of hands and what to do when player is specific type loose/passive/tight/aggro. I get the general idea but maybe more specific info in an article or txt file might be useful or am I just being lazy and wanting to be spoonfed?
don't think any of the coaches can play PLO
Correct (aside from xSCWx) I believe nobody really has good PLO experience.I do get interest from time to time from members or other players that play PLO and do well. It's never panned out thus far. One big reason is that I don't know the game and there aren't tons of people available to potentially make videos, unlike heads up sngs.If something pans out we'll add it, but we don't have any specific plans to get into PLO at this time.
Google 'pol limit omaha math and odds' for websites.Play the husngs on stars or ftp. the $3 turbos on stars are soft and pretty fun.I'll make it easy and point you towards a chart.http://www.aintluck.com/strategy/pot-limit-omaha/odds-chart/
Greetings,I've been a member of HUSNG on two occasions. My first membership started way back in the fall of 2009. There were no videos on PLO at the time. If I memory serves me correctly, I made multiple requests for a PLO video. There may have been some reluctance as few people play PLO relative to Holdem. Anyway, I think I indicated I didn't expect anything spectacular. Just something basic that would help me when I wanted to play low stakes PLO. There was a video made by xSCWx that received one or two lackluster reviews, but I thought it was excellent and I offered positive feedback. If only xSCWx could be prompted to make another video on PLO or PLO8. There was another player who made a video and posted it on the site (I think). It wasn't an official HUSNG video IRRC, but this player was a long-term winner who made Sharkscope's leaderboard. He gave up due to variance, even though he still was listed on S'Scope and had substantial winnings. I'm going to try and find him through Skype if possible. The video was also of a high caliber. I think many of the concepts from the Texas Holdem videos are transferrable, but there are important differences. This is also true for other games. I think the question becomes whether or not the game is popular enough to reach a critical mass of players. But I do see a modest number of PLO games and think a couple of new videos would be a nice addition.Jeffrey
xSCWx can certainly make another one soon. He's on vacation starting today for 9 days, but when he's back I'm sure he has no issue making another one. I think what has made him not make many new PLO videos has been the lack of response/interest. But just based on this thread I'm sure one more soon won't be an issue for him.
I guess it would be nice to become an all around Heads Up hot shot. No Limit Holdem HU Cash, No Limit Holdem HUSnG, PLO HU Cash and PLO HUSnG.PaulIB_FishingDreaming about being a Big Time Baller and Shot Caller
I wouldn't mind learning to play PLO HU either. There are times where I prefer PLO to Hold'em, especially when I'm running bad.
