I realize there is another thread, but would also like to put in another request for more concept videos. I realize this will/might take more work for the pro, but when you consider the % of "interesting" spots in a 40min video is prob. (of course a guesstimation) around 25% at best... seems non-optimal(although not of course to discount its value) . So many videos on this site have been made already in its current format..... and would be great to see more of a shift in this area that is lacking. Some suggestions:1) Proper HUD use and its implications 2) Board textures vs % calling ranges 3) 3betting vs % ranges 4) Cbetting flops vs % ranges 5) Donk betting 6) guesstimations in adjustments to frequencies as game progresses......... etc.thx
Very good suggestions here. We'll see who is available and fits these types of concepts best. It really does vary, what people are comfortable/best at articulating and teaching, so it does take some time to find the right fit for a specific topic and make it happen.
Glad things came across as constructive...was hoping for that. Also, i mentioned elsewhere that i hope more pro's do videos with HUDS. Esp. when showing guesstimations in equity calculations. For examp. if you "think" villian is doing X with 80% when its only 70%, or villians 3betting range at a certain pt. is expanding from 20-30% over X amount of hands....what hands should i consider adding to my calling range and what is the exact reason(also realizing other factors are involved)... trying to figure out if its +EV..that obv. can be a big diff. I do realize that HUDS are not always perfectly accurate but esp. when multitabling you really count on those numbers (at least i do) when making tougher decisions. Another example would be to show adjustments at certain pts via HUD stats as they progress from beginning of game and when decisions supercede HUd stats. Ultimatley i'm looking for a more precise approach. PHMERC told me i'm trying to solve the game for example..but i'm really simply trying to narrow things down more.
